Mr Ravi S Sahai is the Chief Financial Officer of the VA Group. Before his appointment with us, he had a long and successful career in the UK. He has worked for over 11 years in the public and private sector in the UK. He is a firm believer in team spirit and he has successfully guided his teams to uphold the core business values in the previous organisations he has worked for. He is very dynamic and versatile person who has always looked into new horizon. He is a senior executive with strong and extensive experience in finance , administration and public accounting in various industries including construction, wholesale, retails and financial services. He has proven ability to improve efficiency in organisations.

He was the Manager of an accountancy practice in the city of London. He worked for that firm from 2003 until 2011. He was involved in many types of assignments i.e. taxes, advisory and Vat. His most valuable experience was when he was involved in 2004 in the setting up and training of the Mauritian branch of the same firm. He has always been involved in major VAT and TAX investigations the firm was dealing with. He has a good in depth knowledge of the UK accounting and tax practices. He is also quite knowledgeable in the EU VAT mechanism.

From 2001 to 2003, he worked for a big London university and was in the management accounts team. He was responsible for one of the university’s commercial subsidiary. Prior to moving in UK, he worked in various sectors including the offshore, accountancy practice and construction industry.
